i guess my circumstance might be a little different. i am currently in an 8 year medical program, which is no mcat, the works. however, having been here for half a year, i feel disillusinoed. the school isn't the best match for me. however, i also dont know if transferring is the solution. if i do transfer, it'd be somewhere in a city, like NYU or columbia. however, this has just made me think. how important really is undergrad? i herad it goes by so quickly. but to me, at the present, it seems to go by so slowly! and im not enjoying the school that much .academically, im doing fine, but the school isn't stimulating me in any way. however, it guarantees a secure future for me, with less stress than any other premed.
what should i do! i wonder if anyone else feels the same way. i just know that medical school these days it almost impossible to get in, and i dont know if i wanna take that risk or not. any comments?

Too many details to give you an answer on this one.

Personally I think you are in an awesome position. The MCAT is a major battle for getting into Med School and you are virtually guaranteed to get into your med school...I would give it another year. The first academic year is always the toughtest...often times it takes a little while to find your groove.

I am always willing to risk security for what I think might make me happier..but that is me. If there is someone that values security above all else, than they would stay. Only you can decide if you suffer from "grass is green syndrome".

Here is a saying I learned a while ago: "The grass may be greener, but you still have to mow it." ;) Do with that what you will.

For business, undergrad matters

thanks appreciate it. i have much to think about
