<p>For my UC application for 2nd semester, i put that i was enrolled in AP Economics. I am currently still enrolled in that class, however my transcript will say American Government. My school changed the name of the course in order to fulfill the A-G requirements. Am i required to notify the UCs of this and will i get rescinded?</p>
<p>My son was in the same situation. We notified UC in November - after we learned the first semester was American Govt and the second semester was AP Econ. The one email we sent to the UC system was forwarded to all 4 UCs (each UC notified my son that they received the change.) I strongly recommend you update your academics on the UC application website. </p>
<p>Btw my son got into UCD, UCSC, (not UCSD or UCSB). He accepted UCD.</p>
<p>The gov/econ mix-up happens a lot and shouldn’t impact your acceptance. But you should send updates to the UCs you are thinking about enrolling.</p>
