Different dates for session I & II?

<p>I'm in the process of choosing classes for the FSSP, and some of the classes are listed as Summer Session I and Summer Session II</p>

<p>For example : <a href="https://summer.uci.edu/courses/index.aspx?i=970&action=topic%5B/url%5D"&gt;https://summer.uci.edu/courses/index.aspx?i=970&action=topic&lt;/a>
Philosophy<em>1 is Session I and Philosophy</em>12 is Session II</p>

<p>Does that mean these classes take place on different dates/time periods?
The website just said classes take place from August 1- September 10, so I'm not really sure ..</p>

<p>Yes, and Session I has already started (6/22 - 7/29)
Session II is (8/3 - 9/9)</p>

<p>Everything on the [Academic</a> Calendar](<a href=“http://www.summer.uci.edu/calendar/]Academic”>Check our Calendar for Important Dates and Deadlines) is accurate, so you can still apply for the first session although a few of the classes have already started. There’s also a 10 week session that overlaps session I and session II.</p>

<p>Session I and II are 5 week courses and 10-week sessions are 10 weeks.</p>
