I'm trying to change a section for a class, however, when I checked the online schedule of classes, there are different discussion sections at the different locations for the class. However, ALL of these sections are at the same time.
For example, the sections would all be from 2:00-3:00 but they would be occurring in different places, like one would be in Evans while the other one is in Wheeler.
Does anyone know why this happens?
Thanks!

Hmm, that’s strange that all the discussion sections would be at the same time. It depends on the size of your class, but large classes usually have discussion sections at different times to accommodate different schedules. Maybe your professor did this for quiz purposes?

It is not uncommon for discussion sections to take place in really separate parts of campus.

It’s quite likely that the discussion times aren’t final yet and that they’re only doing this for accounting purposes. Your prof may announce a list of different discussion times during the first day of lecture.
