<p>On the online common application, can you upload an essay for one college and submit the application to that college, and still upload different essays for different colleges?
The less competitive safety colleges often have rolling acceptances, so I was hoping to quickly apply there, while taking more time on the applications to the more competitive colleges. But if you can only submit one common application essay for all colleges, I don't want to make a mistake and send anything but my best.

<p>You can - you will have to use the alternative application feature on the commonapp, but I strongly recommend you don’t go about it this way - just send everything in at once and send the same thing to each place, that is essentially what you’re meant to do.</p>
