I attended American high school for four years. I suppose colleges would expect my English score to be a little higher than the average international students. Besides that, how would they judge me in comparison to students who did not attend American high school? Will I be judged basically as a US student?

it depends on the school. I also went to high school in the US. For example, at Cornell, they would compare me to students in the country I went to school in, so American students. However, most other schools will compare me with Canadian students.

You will be basically judged as a US student, will be compared against people from your school, your region, your state. But the -getting-in- part will be tougher. You will be judged more critically than your hs peers. Fin aid will be a stronger issue in your admission (in nonneedblind schools).

That's based on my understanding... correct me if im wrong guys

NoFx is right
