<p>I'm not from the US and from where I live, colleges don't have a common grading system. In my college, we use a 1.00-5.00 scale where 1.00 is the highest, 3.00 the passing mark, and 5.00 failed. Are they going to set aside my application? I'm really worried.</p>
<p>I don't think they disregard your application just because your school
uses an original grading method. My shcool also has a grading system
that differs from common ones in the US. But my school specifies how
to calculate a GPA from grades. You might want to ask your university
about it.</p>
