Different pathways

Ok, so right now I'm going to college as a pre-med, but I'm not exactly sure if I still want to follow through with that. Let's say I major in Economics my first year and a half, start taking pre-med courses, start doing some medicine-related ec's, but half way through sophomore year, or even when I start my Junior year, I decide medicine isn't for me.

If I wanted to go into IB later on after graduation, would it be too late to start up with business related ec's to prepare myself for IB?

Before you start flaming me with being a money whore or something, I'm just exploring a lot of different pathways if I don't go into medicine, (EE, pre-law, IR, etc. ) and I just want to know what my options are should I chose not to pursue pre-med.

Also do Ibanks care what major you did for undergrad? What if I ended up majoring in Biology or even History?

bump plz help

You can go into Ibanking regardless of your major. They are looking for bright, intelligent, analytical students. However, the majors that will look more impressive for ibanks are the more analytical, "difficult" majors such as finance, econ, math etc. Majoring in history will not impress them. And just fyi, making it in ibanking is super competitive (just like getting into a good med school).
