Is it possible to revise the common app for certain schools? If I get another debate award (hopefully in December) I won't be able to use it for early apps but I would switch out on of my ten existing extracurriculars on the common app for debate instead. The problem is, the results aren't out until December so I'm using piano for that space. The other extracurriculars aren't negotiable because they're really important to my character and my intellectual/professional development, and I asked Stanford's admissions office if I could use a different format for my common app extracurriculars and they refused. Would it be possible to send Stanford (my early app school) one version of the common app, revise the common app in December after awards, then send the revised version to my regular decision schools?

With the exception of the essay, of which you are limited to 3 versions, you can make unlimited edits to the common app.

would you have to send the new version to all your schools? or would the schools who already received the first version of the common app JUST see the old version?

Schools that have been sent the older version would only see the older version.
