different versions

hey. anybody know how many different versions there are at each test center? If the test are different does that mean only the order, but is it also the questions?
thanks

only 1 version per test center 90%+ of the time. Only order of the questions sections is changed.

how do u know 90% of the time? and how many different orders are tehre?

actually, in my test center there were at least two different tests...the people sitting next to me had a different test, but we all had the same essay question

so can somebody tell me if it is differnet order or different test?

There is usually one test (all the same questions and passages), but in about 3 or 4 different orders. The experimental section is placed in a different order in those tests. Sometimes (April 2006), there are two completely different tests with different questions and passages.

we actually had two versions of the June SAT at my test center. Half of my friends had the same one I did while the other half had a completely different one. The essay question was the same for both versions though.

what do you mean by the experimental section admanrich?

the one section out of the 10 sections that doesn't count in your score. It looks like the rest of the sections so you won't know which onw it is; so you have to do your best on all the setions
