Hello, well im probably applying this year to 9 Universities/Colleges, but i would like to take one year after I get accepted (if so) to study english and some programing basics (im studying Computer Science), well i have looked over the net for some info on the deferring policies of each of my top 9 pics but i cant find them.. so i wanted to know if you guys know something about this, im applying to:

1) Stanford
2) Berkeley
3) University of Michigan - Ann Arbor
4) Cal - Tech
5) Purdue University
6) Duke University
7) Northwestern University
8) Texas A&M
9) Rensselaer Polytechnic Inst.

Thank You Guys!

i don’t know about differing policies, but I do know a bit about deferring policies
.
stanford: you definitely can (for one year). Read this article at
http://daily.stanford.edu/article/2005/5/2/studentsStepUpToStopOutFromStanford
The rest, I’m not sure about. Perhaps the mispelling is the reason why you couldn’t find info about deferring. If you can’t find any articles/webpages, just email or call the admissions of each school.

OMG.. sorry lol.. well thanks for that article..
now i know why i had no result to find the deferring policies .. i tought it was differing !! :(

Thanks i will keep looking
