i have always thought that the graph of sinx and -sinx are always opposite (ie one up and the other will be down) but why is the pattern of the graph of sinx and -2sin(pi x+3pi) so similar?

and also, why is (-1/16)^(2/3) equal to 0.16? my calculator says it is a math error. y?
how to differentiate e^x

(-1/16)^(2/3) is 0.16
there are many ways to solve this. here is the longest, but most logical way:
[(-1)^(2/3)] x [(1/16)^(2/3)]= 0.157 honestly, you don't really need to know how to do this. just plug it into ur calculator (try a ti 84 or higher).

not sure about the sin thing

the derivative of e^x is e^x by definition.

cherry, if you do 2/3 and store it, then do -1^X you'll get -1 because -1 to the power of anything is -1. idk why it gives that error... mine did too.
