Difficult Situation

I'm a freshmen student at Gallaudet University, and I have gotten a lot of trouble for underage drinking and smoking pots few times at the "dry" dorm, have been partying a lot and my grades have been slipping lately. I have lost motivation in academics because I wasn't very happy with required courses that I had to take and I don't feel that Gallaudet University is right for me that give me the motivation to be able to accomplish my degree in Business Administration.

Last semester, I got GPA of 2.25 which I failed one class and got an incomplete grade in another class as well.. I have been doing a lot of thinking lately whether if I need to transfer to community college in my hometown to pull myself together and avoid getting into any more troubles. I know that I might get some transfer credits.. but my GPA on my transcript might affect my chance to transfer to another college after two years at community college. I am really in difficult situation because I never been like this when I was in high school.. I have completely changed when I got into college since the fall.

I think its because your on your own and not in a home setting so you feel like you dont have to do your work…i think it would be best for you to move back home and attend community college because its your best bet at being the type of student you were in high school
