<p>I was recently accepted into UA for Fall 2012. I’ve been the head manager for my school’s varsity basketball team since sophomore year, and am thinking about doing the same in college. I have connections throughout the athletic department, especially with the football team. I know the competition for managerial spots for the football must be tough, but how many people usually apply to be basketball managers?</p>
<p>I don’t know if anyone knows here…is there someone in the athletic dept that you can ask?</p>
<p>Actually, there is…but he’s sort of preoccupied coaching the rubbing backs! I was just wondering if any students on here were managers/had applied.</p>
