Difficult to get into Turing Scholars?

Hey, HS senior about to apply for Turing and was just wondering how difficult it would be to get in. My essays are pretty good, and I'm top 10% (rank 2), 2160 SAT, blah blah did dual credit as a junior and senior, and have taken math through differential equations.

also, if anyone knows, how many people enter into the turing scholars program each year?

What is a Turing Scholar?

[Let me google that for you](http://■■■■■■■.com/ybtjbnk)

kiruyama, I recommend that you apply for Dean Scholars as well.

IMO, DS is a much better honors program than Turing.

Eh while they are better programs, Turing is much better for cs based intern ships. Those software companies and research positions are going to want Turing much more than DS, and those other programs.

utfor11, that was very clever! I wish I knew how to do stuff like that!
