For those considering HMC for CS, consider this article. It is unlikely this class and faculty shortage will be remedied soon.

Apply, visit if you get in and talk to students there. They’ve taken quite a few steps since this started brewing. Don’t let it put you off from a great school.
They are also building an entirely new building for computer science and will start building next year.
