All my application materials status are "RECEIVED" now :D . I love Grinnell now

I received my pioneer account several days ago.
I found one essay about “ECs after high school” missing.
Which essay are they talking about?
Can anyone tell me where this essay topic was? Was it in Grinnell supplement? Where can I find this topic??

I read on another thread that you only need to do this if you took a gap year (year off) after high school. Did you?

I'm sure there are a couple of intels here: does grinnell not accept your exam results (ie. a-levels, o-levels) in place of a high school transcript?

is it truly compulsory?

I STILL havent received any Username OR password!

Oh, yes, they definitely do GREAT job in there. Now all is fine with me. None missing. Does anyone have an idea where we might find out the big thing?

Tsenguun

Do you mean when will you find out if you've been accepted? By April 1, everyone should hear.

Yeah, you got me right and thank you bethievt!

i got a few emails saying certain things were missing, which is impossible since i sent everything in one huge envelope and since they got a portion of it, it was a matter of time before the rest turned up...but they kept saying that the file wasn't complete :( which was kinda scary

hitch hiker, same problem. They sent a really abrupt e-mail saying they don't have a lot of my stuff (:. I know all my stuff was sent.

My counselor rec was recorded so the rest should be there too. I sent an e-mail but no response, I am not too keen on phone since I kind of suck at speaking over the phone. How did u handle it? I got an email saying they want my stuff on Monday or else ???

Call. You can tell them that you received this email, you have verified that all the documents were sent from your side, and you are wondering if there is perhaps a lag between the time something is filed in your record and the time the email goes out. If they could just check to see if the documents aren't already in your file, it would help you avoid bothering a number of people to resend documentation.

If you write yourself a little script, it will be much easier. Just remember that they are feeling a bit frazzled at the moment so be patient and polite.

Worst case scenario is they say they have too many of these calls right now to check on your personal situation (in which case you know their process is the problem and they know it), and you do what you can to resend stuff (by fax and then certified mail this time). Best case, they pull your folder and tell you that it's all there so relax. No one will think badly of you for caring and for being reluctant to ask for duplicates of things you know were sent.
