Difficulty at CofC

I’m currently a senior in high school and CofC is my top choice. I visited the campus and fell in love with everything- including the faculty and students I spoke with. I received a generous scholarship and acceptance into their honors college, and I would really like to commit in the next week or so. I will definitely be majoring in psychology and thinking about minoring in neuroscience.
The only thing that worries me is the difficulty of the school. I don’t want to be inundated with school work, but I have heard that the class work is comparable to high school work and that worries me. People have also told me that their science department is great, but the other areas are okay.

For reference, I have a 3.87 GPA (out of 4) and take all honors classes with a few APs. Of course, my first priority for college is academics, and I want to make sure I am challenged enough to eventually go to grad school and maybe get a PhD.

Does anyone have any personal experience with CofC’s academics/honors college and their difficulty level?
