Difficulty of CS 3L

How hard is this class for someone who knows absolutely nothing about progrmaming?

Same situation here.

It’s an easy class as far as CS classes go, but CS classes tend to be a lot harder than your average class. I’d say it’s moderately difficult and expect a good amount of work, but shouldn’t be too hard.

CS 3L should be easy for most people interested in CS. Just take it seriously and work hard, and you’ll be fine.

I had no programming experience before I took CS 3L, and the course is a lot harder because of it. A lot of the people in the class already have some form of programming experience, so you’ll feel like you’re behind a lot of the time. People with experience grasp the concepts much more quickly. There is a lot of work involved in this class, even though it is an intro course. With two 3 hour labs a week, you’ve got a lot of things to do.

If you do take this course, please heed my advice:
DO NOT FALL BEHIND.

It is very easy to fall behind in this course because you have two labs in a three day period, so if you put off the first lab till later, the second lab shows up and you can’t do any of it because you haven’t finished the first lab. Do not fall behind.
