Difficulty of CS61 Series and Physics 111

Hey guys,

I'm trying to figure out my schedule for the next couple years and I was wondering what the difficulty/work-load of the CS61 series is (specifically 61A since I'll be taking it next semester).

Although Physics 111 is a 3 unit class I've heard it's waaaaaaay time consuming, moreso than most 4 unit classes. Is this true or just hype? I was planning on taking 111 and 61B together, but I'm not sure if thats a great idea...

Also, for any CS or EECS majors, what are the CS classes in general at Berkeley like? Pretty hardcore time consuming or no? What's fact and what is fiction? =) thanks guys.

61series very difficult. expect many all nighters

yes cs61a takes alot of time, especially the projects.

If you don’t procrastinate and you are good with programming, I can imagine that it won’t be that bad.

CS classes are usually extremely time-consuming. However, the 61 series aren’t that bad. You don’t have to pull an all-nighter at all if you never procrastinate.
