Difficulty of physics 135a/135b at USC?

Hey everyone, I am new here and a USC transfer student who just finished first day of classes at USC (looking forward to the film classes I have as electives)

I am pre-med student that has completed all the courses except for physics. right now I am enrolled in Physics 135a and hopefully 135b next semester.

I want to know if ppl have had horror stories with these classes. I hear BISC 120/220 are tough and definitely "weed-out" but I have already took those at my previous institution. How many ppl get A's and B's in physics 135? is it much easier than the other pre-med classes.

any advice would be awesome.

Both those Physic’s classes are the easiest pre Reqs . Find a tutor if you find the course material difficult especially in the b class.

A is typically easy regardless, B is typically harder especially the E&M part depending on the professor.

thanks for the advice. what are normally the averages for both 135a and 135b? What professor would you recommend for 135b?

Would you say physics 135 is much easier than the other pre-reqs or just a notch down, I ask bc I’m thinking of taking physiology with dr herrera but I heard that class takes a lot of studying.
