Difficulty of PR Practice Tests?

I've heard some people say the critical reading on the PR books are much tougher than the normal. I've also heard that their math is easier. Are either/both/none of these claims true?

I'd just like to know how inflated/deflated my scores on those practice tests could be potentially. Thanks.

it depends. when people address the real SAT, it varies. For instance, the December SAT last year was certainly a bit harder than that of October, especially the CR part. There is only one book I know that is very hard in its CR - Barrons. Passages in Barrons are drawn from Scientific American which is no longer the choice for Collegeboard test makers. Also some of the short passages are from Odyssey and Holmer's poem which won't be tested.

I'd say that CR is harder than actual and Math is a tiny bit harder, and writing is way easier.

I felt the PR tests were closest to the real test overall.
