<p>How difficult is it to transfer after one-two years into a UC such as UCSD or UCLA from Cal Poly?</p>
<p>I would assume very difficult for a few reasons.
1) Priority of transferring to a CSU or UC is given to students from a Community College.
2) From Cal Poly to a UC is transferring from a different system (CSU) to UC system. Just as transferring from UC to Cal Poly gives you the lowest priority.
3) Most majors in Cal Poly work in a reversed type of flow chart. For example, my major EE, has students completing 1 (non support) GE every quarter in a span of 4 years. UC typically requires all these GEs to be done by the time you transfer.</p>
