how difficult would it be to transfer with my GPA of 3.85 from this past semester at Hofstra University and a GPA of 3.8 from summer courses at UCLA? i've completed enough credits where they won't look at my high school transcript (which is a relief, because my high school grades were horrible!)

thanks in advance!

which school are you applying to? Some like CALS are nearly impossible due to GTs, and CAS is just nearly impossible because it is. I've heard some of the other schools within Cornell are less difficult to transfer into.

Wait? So you started classes this spring? Also, how is your SAT? It matters.

i am already admitted, but what are GTs

guaranteed transfers.

i am applying to the College of Arts and Sciences.

yes, i started college full-time this past Spring, but i have credits from classes i took at a cc while still in high school-- that's how i have a total of 33 credits.

my SAT scores are:
verbal- 560
math- 540

SAT II's:
history- 600
writing- 700
math- 500

thanks.

College of Arts and Sciences will be very tough to transfer into. I don't believe that they accepted a lot of transfers this year. It seems that this is becoming a growing trend where the top school are not taking in transfers as much as in prior years. Too much emphasis is placed on their Freshman Class towards HS Seniors!

It seems that they are forgetting something. I wonder what it is?
