Difficulty of UC after transferring

how hard is it once you transfer to a UC in business economics? im not talking about UCLA or UCB, but all others, particularly UCI. If if helps, i attend Deanza college, which isnt the hardest CC, but it definatley isnt the easiest.

thanks

UCI Bus econ takes anyone. They have a usual 90% admit rate as bus econ is not an impacted major there.

UCI is an easy school. If you're gonna take Math for Economists (Math 4), try not to get Professor Reilly because he is horrible. If you do get him, make sure to get focused before the tests because little mistakes on tests will cost you dearly.

thanks for the advice
would it be possible to do medical school pre-requisites while completing upper division business economics courses??
also, anybody have any information on the biological sciences minor?

haha i just want to say
i had Reilly for two weeks then i dropped the class..
he always speaks nonsense....
avoid him

I think it is definately possible to pick bio as a minor, and pre-reqs are not as hard (although not easy either). Even though you (and myself as well) should ask a counselor at UCI if it is possible to take bio pre-reqs at a JC while you attend UCI (that is if you want to take them at a JC, which would be much better than to take them at UCI). also, I don't know if students are allowed to do that (someone at my jc told me this and I didn't believe him)

sorry for the misunderstanding, i dont want to take them at a JC while at UCI. I just want to finish as much as I can in the next few quarters and summer at my current JC, then finish the rest at UCI.
are they difficult at UCI? cuz theyre no walk in the park at my JC

That question doesn't exactly have a definitive answer, but I'm more inclined to think it would be more difficult at the UC - though I could be wrong.

You shouldn't worry yourself too much over course difficulty just yet. If you have the opportunity of taking the course at a JC you should go for it; I feel you have a better shot at getting a decent grade there. It lessens your workload once you transfer anyways.

thats what i wouldve thought, that classes are harder. but some people have told me that they are actually easier (excluding Cal and UCLA), so i was just checking to see which seems more reasonable

tu fikar na kar captain, dekhi jao bas bhangra pah

paan di, ainey desi? balle balle

my multivariable calculus class at my CCC is way harder than any of the lower division calculus classes at UCSB.
