Well, I applied PSU -U. Park very late in the admissions process, and apparently they had already closed admissions, so I didn't get in, regardless of being well within the boundaries for acceptance. I did, however, get into a sub-campus (York). I really want to go to Penn State, yet I don't think I'd like to spend an entire year at York before doing so. Is it possible to transfer for the 2nd semester if I'm doing outstanding?

Also, I was notified in my acceptance letter that York doesn't offer dorming. Do any of the smaller campuses, and, if so, is it possible to transfer acceptance to that one before the year begins?

I know Erie has dorms and I'm an incoming freshmen for them..Nothing's wrong with staying there a year..but you seem to have a housing problem..best thing to do is to call...Good Luck man!

For almost everyone you must stay there atleast 2 years. People have said it is 'possible' to transfer after you have finished your first year, but I have never actually known a person to have done that. You would most likely have to be one of the highest ranked people there and have a good reason for needing to transfer early. However, I know it's impossible to transfer sooner than your first year is over.

I have to transfer from Erie after my first year. I have to take a ChE class @ UP starting Fall of my sophomore year. So, it really does depend on what your reason is.

But dont go to schuylkill. I lived 5 min. from schuylkill my whole life and their is NOTHING at all to do around here. Schuylkill County sucks!! I warn you!!!!!!!!!!! It sucks!!!!!!!!!
