Digital Arts and Sciences

I'm going to be a Freshman at UF this fall and am signed up as a digital arts and sciences major. It is basically a cross between computer science and digital art and is located in the college of engineering. Does anyone have any experience with something like this as it seems relatively new and I haven't been able to find much about it. I am just wondering what type of opportunities this would prepare me for as opposed to just majoring in digital arts or computer science.

im sure that would be good for entertainment companies such as blizzard and the such, they are always looking for cinematics people who can program, for example MaxScript for 3dStudioM…or MEL for maya

i mention blizzard because thats my dream job ;] hopefully

Alright good to hear, I would love to work with video games or movies, a job with Blizzard would be amazing.
