Digital Arts & Communications

UC/DAAP is a great school–but the curriculum is VERY focused, no way to double-major or even minor in something else (unless maybe you took courses at night during your co-op semesters, which would be pretty tough to work out).

So if you are looking for a broader experience (more English/writing courses, a communications minor, etc), it would probably have to be elsewhere.

UC is a great option, though, and worth considering…just different than what OP described.

I went there, too, (long ago!) but curriculum is still very rigid. You only have room for a few electives, and the studio hours and demands are so high, that for me at least, taking extra courses would never have worked. (in studios probably 30 hours a week for class).
