And does anyone know how University of Florida's program ranks?
Digital Media

University of Pennsylvania’s Digital Media Design program is top notch, although it’s very hard to get into–they only accept 20 students each year–but if you are lucky enough to be accepted, many of their graduates go on to careers at Pixar and Disney.

At USC in the School of Cinematic Arts is the Interactive Entertainment major. You can learn more about this on the website and on a YouTube video on interactive entertainment.

Another major which may interest you in CSA is the Animation and Digital Arts major. The animation students will be working in the new animation addition to the cinema complex.

If you are more involved with the engineering aspect the Viterbi School of Engineering at USC offers CS (Games). It offers in-depth technical and creative training. Explored are modeling ,artificial intellignece, algorithm design together witih artistic courses from CSA.

I’m from Florida, but don’t know much about UCF vs UF. Not sure what Ringling has (top school in animation), and I do know that you need to stay away from Full Sail.

Yes, it is, we get email “advertisements” for it all the time, since D was on their radar. I have a co-worker whose son was going there (its in the Orlando area). Don’t know much more about it, but could inquire if OP wants to know.

I have done research bit was just wondering on opinions…
Yeah, full sail is a HUGE joke…90k for a bachelors degree…lmao
DMAC is around 70k… I really have no idea what these schools ar thinking or the people that attend them?
I figure UCF’s is probably the best bet they have a “thing” with EA in Tampa, and if you can get into the masters program it has a 95% job placement rate…Now those are some hard numbers I like.

Indian River State College (used to be a community college) in Ft. Pierce, FL is now offerring a bachelors in Digital Media. There is a new company in the area, Digital Domain and it looks like IRSC is looking to be able to provide talent for them.
