This link takes you to a list of common app schools with the deadlines for admission.

Even if an application date has passed, an interested coach can get around that. Do-don't give up before your D talks to the coach.

Thanks again. I'll give my D a pointer to the Common App list mention the suggestion that she contact coaches of interest even in those cases where the deadline has passed.

NVDAD - A couple of schools to consider - especially if she IS interested in playing 2 sports - and they are not the same season - Clark University in Worcester, MA and Trinity, CT - i know students who have gone to both and have done well playing 2 sports - decent academics as well.

If your DD applied to W&L - my best wishes to her there - holds a very special place in our hearts here - awesome school!!!

Just a thought also - walk on opportunities at many DIII's are also possible too - just have to make sure you reserve the walk date for try-outs on your calendar.

And will throw this in as well - if academically there is a school that she really is attracted - many schools have some very competitive club sports as well.

nvdad - the posters here on cc are very helpful. we've received some great tips from cc'ers, many of whom have children who are playing college sports now or who are on the same quest for recruiting information. keep asking questions. there are some helpful threads on recruiting on cc as well.

My D sent an additional APP yesterday and is looking for more schools this weekend. Thanks to all.

Assuming we get past this point, I wonder if anyone can describe the strategies their children used to balance academics and athletics?

nvdad, who'd she pick for the new apps?
