dilema: one score much lower than other 2

Hey,

I received my scores today and this is what they were.

Critical Reading - 600
Math - 690
Writing - 740

2030

My Critical Reading score is clearly a lot lower than my other two. Is this going to look really bad when applying to college? What if I take the test again and go up a little in the Critical Reading, but my other two sections go down (I doubt that I will score as high again in the other two)? Won't schools still see the score, even if they take the highest? Some advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

I can't help you, but I'm in the same situation myself. My math score is 120 points below my CR and writing.

You might consider studying really well for the Literature SAT II and taking AP English next year, so colleges will know you can handle higher level material.

Bumping, because I have a personal interest in this topic and hope that someone can answer the OP's question.
