Dilema with cal card and ID

<p>So in two weeks when I visit the campus again I will get my cal 1 card. The only ID I have with a picture is my high school ID. So today I look at the counter and guess what, no hs ID. I freak and start to search with no avail. Holy $hit what do I do. I was going to wait to get my license until I turn 18 so I don’t have to take those dumb classes. However, It came back to bite in the ass. Is there any other way to get my cal 1 card or should I spend all of tomorrow destroying my house in order to find my HS ID.</p>

<p>When I was at CalSo, they let me use my high school ID to get my Cal 1 Card. You could call them, if you want to double check about using a hs ID. They should let you use it.</p>

<p>The funny thing is I asked my dad two years ago if I could get a passport, but he told me that I wouldn’t need it anytime soon. What the **** Celsius all you have ever done is made fun of me ever since I badmouthed that one kid. You better watch yourself because I will get you sooner or later. :)</p>

<p>worst case scenario, you go to the DMV and just get an I.D., not a driver's license.</p>

<p>Viromonkey, as Druu stated, go to the DMV and get a California I.D. card. You'll need to take some id with you, like your birth certificate & social security card; and check to make sure you don't need your parents authorization, but you'll get that ID quickly and you should be all set to go.</p>

<p>Viromonkey, I am not making fun of you. I was actually responding to nhsharvard's post on how he told you to use your HS ID even after you said you lost it.</p>

<p>At my HS we got a new ID every year. Look for an old HS ID. BTW you will need a state/federal government issued ID card at some point. You'll need an ID whenever you fly.</p>

<p>Yeah, just go to the DMV and get an I.D. card. Like you, I waited until I was 18 to get my license, and in the meantime, I got an I.D. card. It does take a few days to get the card though.</p>
