dilemma dilemma GPA dilemma

hello there,

i am in a quarter system school
and currently im taking 4 courses (normal)
however, I recently got a C- in my econ midterm.........
do you think I should drop it? because I am pretty sure I can pull it off in the B range..possibly B+ but do you think its worth it?
rest of the courses I am pretty sure I will get A/A-.

the other thing is that I dropped orgo last quarter too so I only had 3 courses last quarter...do you think having 3 courses two times look relle bad on me? however, I plan on taking 5 courses next quarter.

btw I am thinking of applying to ivies...so...would GPA have more weight or the number of course work?

Thanks!!

if 4 classes is standard per quarter for your school, taking 3 courses twice in a row will hurt…having the two W’s on your transcript will hurt as well

however having a B on your transcript will hurt for the ivies will hurt as well…its a close call, but i would stay in the course if in fact 4 courses per semester is the norm and you are positive you wont get less than a B. however if you just got a c- on your midterm, im not sure you can be so confident that you can get A’s the rest of the quarter in that class

gl

oh thanks for your tip
do you think B…is better than nothing?

oh btw the transcript doesnt say that I dropped it…its just blank on the transcript
