<p>To some extent it does, but how come we view a person with a Harvard degree different from someone with a Chicago degree or a Tufts degree? Harvards prestige comes from the fact that it has built up a reputation as strong national university because of its age, and money it has to spend on faculty and facilities. Plenty of schools have the same intellectual atmosphere as Harvard, but thats not what makes it prestigious.</p>
