Dilemma with UC Berkeley...!

Hi! so im new to this website so forgive me if i posted this in the wrong area, etc

I recently learned of my acceptance to UC Berkeley as an international student and I had applied for integrated sciences. However, I sort of want to study business and I was wondering if I am still allowed to change my course of study and still attend Berkeley without them voiding my offer of admission.

Also, I was told that Berkeley does not have a business school, but what bout the Haas School of Business? I did some research and even called them and they said something about entering business school in junior year if your marks are high enough and etc

But Im still a little confused; what can I study/ what do I study during my freshman and sophmore year then...?

I hope that someone can give me some explanation cause I'm really confused...

thanks to anyone in advance who tells me something meaningful/ useful :)

Hi. At Berkeley you do enter the business school for your junior and senior years. You must apply to Haas and be admitted to be in the business school. Thus, admission to Haas is competitive, although I would not know how competitive and what kind of GPA you would need to get in.

You should be allowed to change majors although, like you mentioned, Haas is only for your 3rd and 4th years. I would guess that a few of the ‘pre-Haas’ students would student Economics, Finance, and the like before enrolling in the business school. I think you should be able to apply and get into Haas no matter what major you do, but I could be wrong.

If I were you, I’d look up what pre-reqs Haas requires, what you can major in before you enter Haas, what people normally major in, and what kind of GPA you need to get into Haas.
