Dilemma

Im planning to apply as a transfer this year to like 5 schools with much better buisness programs than my current school has
all of these schools require a 4 or 5 on an AP test to give credit, but my current school accepted my 3 and took me out of calc and put me in 'buisness statistics'
so since calc is pretty important for buisness majors, should I change it back to calc, or even see if theres a way i can takee both?

You should probably speak with the admissions offices at the schools you're considering.
In my daughter's case, her 3 on the AP English Language test would give her credit for English 1 at her CCC, but UCLA requires a 4 for credit. So she's taking English 1.

And though she did poorly in Algebra 2 in HS, she tested into Calc at her CC. But since USC requires that transfer students pass Algebra 2 (in HS or college), she'll take it P/F in the winter, even though it's considered such a basic class that the credits won't transfer anywhere.

Bottom line: It's not what your current school requires or allows, it's what the colleges you're considering require that matters. And you'd do best to check with them directly.
