Dilemma

Hi. I just happened to stop by on this board. I’m having this dilemma and thought you might be able to help.

My choice is between Cornell and the U. of Miami. Cornell, I’m Hotel Management, Miami, Broadcast Journalism.

The thing is, I’m very comfortable with Miami. I’ve spent a lot of summers there and my aunt is a VP. I live in NJ, btw. So I’d be a VIP with a lot of connections.

What would you do? Go somewhere where you know you’ll be comfortable, but you’re in a partying, Club UM atmosphere, or go to an “Ivy” that has a bit more prestige and more seriousness for learning?

Depends on what type of person you are, is this the right board for the question though?

I would go to Cornell, I'm sure its pretty fun there, but if you are a hardcore partyer UM all the way

Thanks.

I'm by no means a partier. A lot of people said to go to a board that wouldn't be biased to either school. If I ask on the C-nell board, you'd know what they would say.

Thank you though. I've been leaning towards Cornell.

Ha, every Ivy league board is biased towards the Ivy league, thats what I think.

Cornell is a much better school- I mean, is there a better school of Hotel Management out there? (Is there even another school of Hotel Management out there period lol?)

However, Cornell is in the middle of nowhere and has really cold weather. Miami is much nicer.

btw you might get better responses on the Cornell, U of M, or general college selection boards, but w/e.
