Okay. Here's my problem. I applied to NYU, BC, PSU-University Park, and Fordham. I just got accepted in PSU, but I want to wait out and see if I get accepted into the other ones. My parents want me to go to PSU because I live in Pennsylvania and it will be cheaper for them. Can someone tell me if I can get as much job opportunities in NYC graduating from PSU then graduating from NYU or BC? Thanks

Anybody want to help me…

Depends on what you want to go in, but I don’t see why. Penn States not a bad college by any means. I’m assuming the opprotunities will be the same.

The question isn’t the location of where you received your degree, but what you did at that location and how successful you are. Students seem to be disenfranchised regarding the location of their college. The way I see it is you do well, keep a good GPA, and play your cards right, there is no reason as to why you shouldn’t be successful.

Employers travel the country looking for jobs. I’m sure they stop off at penn state, regardless of whether its a couple hundred miles away from NYU. Companies hit California for caliber students. They spent LOTS of money on recruiting. Don’t be too worried.

Check out the career center to the specific college you got into.

Good luck.
