<p>hey guys, i currently have a 2.8 GPA in second semester of my senior year and i was accepted to both UCSC and CalPoly Pomona. I know that UCSC is very strict on maintaining a 3.0 average, so i was wondering if i should take the risk of getting rescinded and SIR to UCSC while there's a chance that i will pull my GPA up or if i should SIR to Pomona regardless of what GPA i get.</p>
<p>Don’t do anything else today until you talk to someone in UCSC’s admissions office about this. Seriously, Ask them directly ASAP. </p>
