I couldn’t find it on the Bama Dining website (although I’m sure it was hiding there somewhere). If you don’t have a mealplan, what is the price for breakfast, lunch and dinner at the dining halls?

The red grid in the middle of this page says $9 lunch and $9.29 dinner.

[Welcome to CampusDish at The University of Alabama!](http://www.campusdish.com/en-US/CSS/Alabama/MealPlans/Upperclassmen.htm)

Thanks, that’s what I needed.

SEA_tide mentioned in another tread about eating at specific dining halls when they have a special. How do students know when dining halls have a special price for breakfast, lunch or dinner?

Bama Dining has occasional specials that it will advertise on its website, posters, Facebook, and/or email.

Dinner at Lakeside or Burke (Fresh Foods is only open for dinner if one of the others is closed for renovation) costs $9.29. Lunch is $9.00 except on UA’s paydays (every other Friday) when it’s $5.45 aka $5.00 plus 9% sales tax. Late Night is charged as breakfast, which is $6.30. Fresh Foods was running a special where breakfast was $5.45. During the last month of the 2011-2012 school year (April 5th-May 5th), all meals were $5.45.

As it’s difficult to find a meal for less than $5.45, especially one that is all-you-can-eat and includes a drink, the dining halls can be a great value.
