Are all dining halls open during move-in days [this week] so that we can use our bruincard meal swipes?

The dining halls will be open. Last year you didn’t have to swipe in, probably the same this year.

^ so its free from now until monday?

Dining halls will be open, and each student can swipe in 4 guests for free, until Monday. All restaurants should be open save for Rieber.

So is that 4 swipes total for the weekend, or it’s free for the weekend and you can swipe up to 4 people in at a time?

4 swipes total I think. Meal plans start on Sunday night, not Monday.

So if I move in on Saturday and both of my parents come, that is 3 swipes out of 4? And then I only have one more “free” swipe left for the whole weekend?

parents eat for free

No, judging from the responses from Housing on their FB page: http://www.facebook.com/uclahousingservices

Hmm, okay. Thanks!

^so i can bring friends who arent parents and swipe them in for free?? without premiere??

Yes, you can bring anyone as long as you have a swipe, even a transient.

the topic is dining hall during move in so as every body knows that dining is mostly use for chat with friends eating and specially when there is some special guests are coming and u have to give a great and warm welcome so u should open your dining and u said that please have a seat
so i think that in every home this part is used severally
