<p>As opposed to De Neve: "De Neve Residential Restaurant
De Neve has become a favorite with residents. Its spacious dining area features stunning architectural details, exhibition stations, and a popular sandwich bar."</p>
<p>I thought Hedrick had the best food, what's this "De Neve = favorite" thing all about? And a sandwich bar??? I want a sandwich bar! I'd trade in the sushi bar for the sandwich bar ANYDAY.</p>
<p>(Please excuse the rant. I tend to get excited when thinking about the food there. Btw, that menu for today sure looks good. Philly cheesesteak pizza for dinner. Mmmmmm...)</p>
<p>Hedrick has a sandwich bar too, it looks similar to De Neve's, but I've never had anything from it, because I only go to Hedrick on sushi days :) mmmm...</p>
<p>Isn't it awesome that we can eat ANYWHERE we'd like? So hop and taste around like I'm going to :) ! Goodness and the options don't just end with the halls...there's also the restaurants on campus and in Westwood and...oh I'm so excited!</p>
<p>My favorite custom-sandwich at De Neve: roast beef, Black Forest Ham, a fried egg sunny-side up and a fried chicken breast slathered with ranch dressing and A1 Barbecue Sauce, all compressed between two slices of white bread.</p>
<p>one bad thing about Hedrick is that it is so dam far. I look at the menu, then I think about the hike....so most of the time I just eat at the DeNeve. I could see why DeNeve is so popular...food isn't the best but at least it's closest to campus and a good chunk of the students live around there. </p>
<p>my favorite dish-- corn beef and cabbage, that's one meal i'd never miss...had 5 plates one time. </p>
<p>and the bbq chicken pizza is sooooo good-- too much crust but hey nothing is perfect.</p>
<p>i like to call it a world-class buffet...after a while it becomes local-class ...but that's because I treat it like a vegas buffet for the first 2 months.</p>
<p>oh yeah....and I'm extremely bitter that U-dog double their prices... can't brag to people about that place anymore.</p>
<p>anyways...sorry for ranting but food is my main source of happiness... well that and fantasizing about possibility of having unlimited free parking on campus.</p>
