On a side note, Koronet's increased the price of their slice to $4.25 for one topping....

if you get anything but a plain slice at koronets then ur crazy

....they did raise the price of that to $3.00 from $2.75

That new taco place on 110th and Broadway is pretty good. I forget the name. A few pizza shops, very fairly priced diner, sandwich shop.
I agree with everyone else. $60-$80 a week should cover you as far as food in morningside heights, plus you can always take a short trip to the upper west side which has much more variety.

Chipotle or something? Isn't it owned by Maccas?

Sidenote: French call it McDo, Americans call it Micky Dee's, Aussies call it Maccas. They call it McDonalds.

Yes, thats the one. $13 a meal is not too shabby for nyc standards. id never get a meal plan simply b/c you are forced to eat the same crap day in and day out and will get bored.

i wouldnt pay $4.25 for a slice of pizza if it was presented to me by the president. thats just way too expensive but if you go towards 125th price drops for everything. price drops and homicide rate goes up.

If you're getting financial aid - GET THE MEAL PLAN, it makes no difference to how much you spend except for the fact that you now have the OPTION to eat on campus.

Yeah, the new place is Chipotle. There's a thread about it on the '11 Facebook Group. Though it still doesn't beat In n Out

as compared to eating out, i'd say the dining hall offers a bit more variety in two weeks along with being 10 times more healthy. if you dont mind cooking tho then yea, i would advise against the plan

Chipotle is a big chain and is throughout the city. My challenge remains -- find a place in Morningside besides Koronet's that is worth going to Morningside for.

Have you ever been to Koronet's? It's not a "slice of pizza." It's a massive slice of pizza.

In fact, you might as well call it a pizza.

For the record, nothing beats In n Out.

jeez everything's expensive out in nyc
