For a normal, average freshman, which dining plan is the best to get?

Liberty Plan, no question.

You can always change your meal plan if you find out a month or so into it that you need more meals/dining dollars, but I highly recommend starting with the Liberty Plan. I thought at first that I would eat more meals, but with the Liberty Plan I’ve ended each semester with around 30 meals left over (with me trying to get rid of them at the end of each of them).

Dining dollars are valuable and useful. You should get as many of them as you can.

I mean, it depends how much you like the food at the dining hall. I knew people who went every day. You can always change the plan later. But I agree, dining dollars are great.
