Dining Plans

Ok so I signed S up for the 15 plus plan but now I’m thinking of switching it to unlimited. We were talking today and he balked at having only two meals a day. How many kids actually make that breakfast time?

Mckinneymomma,
I had the unlimited plus dining plan back in my freshman year, which was nice from a convenience point of view, but I switched to 15 plus before my sophomore year after I looked at how many meals I ate on an average week and realized I rarely ate breakfast. 15 plus is the most common dining plan and I imagine your son would be fine with it, but if he is that concerned by it, you might try unlimited for the first semester or two and see if he actually needs it. The extra flex dollars with the 15 plus were enough to cover any extra breakfasts I might have eaten (I’d pick up something from Starbucks or Club Red before class), but if he’s a big breakfast person unlimited might be worth it.
