Dinner at 5 points

We will be in Columbia tonight for move in tomorrow. Any suggestions for dinner for 6 at 5 Points?

We’ve always had good food/service at Harpers. Usually pretty busy so you may want to call ahead. If you’re going for really casual, try Yesterdays.

Another to consider would be Blue Marlin in The Vista. Very nice place. It is more expensive but delicious!

But no matter where you go, be prepared for crowds and try calling ahead.

Thanks I think we want really casual so maybe Yesterday’s

Our favorite is California Dreaming and it’s big enough that waiting is rare.

Yesterday’s is awesome. I always love their food and when my friend’s parents come into town, that’s where we always go.

Yesterday’s is a USC tradition…when I was a student you could always find some of your professors in the bar! Pawley’s Front Porch is also suppose to be good and so is Harpers. For very casual, Groucho’s and Andy’s deli (basically same food) is also Columbia tradition but really just a sandwich place. Slightly up from 5 points on Devine St is Za’s which is pizza etc and has some larger tables. One of my daughters’ favorite local pizza places.

We went to yesterday’s. It was great and there was no wait. We had 12 people.

For more casual, there’s also (all in the Vista) Liberty Grill, Wild Wings, Mellow Mushroom, and the Carolina Ale House. Walking distance from USC.
