How much does SAT score weigh on admittance stats for direct admit to nursing if GPA is 4.19 (our of 4)?
Purdue reviews applicants holistically. My daughter and I sat in on a nursing information session and they spent quite a bit of time discussing this. We got the impression that they take everything into consideration and we were told there is no specific cut off for GPA or ACT.
The handout we received shows the latest admitted freshman class averages were:
GPA: 3.91
SAT: 1302
ACT: 29
Those figures are averages for the entire admitted class, so this means there were students admitted with both higher scores and with lower scores.
