Direct entry Nursing Program 4 year BSN

<p>My D would like to find a direct entry (freshman) Nursing Program (4 year BSN) in New England, NY, PA area. Do you folks have any place you'd recommend and what kind of stats would she need? Thanks .....</p>

<p>Thanks … just wonder how competitive it is getting in. My D has about a 3.2 GPA with several AP and Honors classes … suspect she’ll get between 1100-1200 on Mat/Verb SAT</p>

<p>You can look into Villanova Nursing School located just outside Philadelphia. Her stats may be on the low side but it is worth a look.</p>

<p>Consider the quality of the program more than being able to enter it as a freshman. Be sure the grads pass their licensing board exams when finished. Consider the schools’ reputations among those hiring the grads- area hosptals and clinics. If the best BSN prograqms require admission after completing some undergrad work don’t dismiss them if your D’s stats look as if she’ll be competitive.</p>
