Direct Hits old version vs. 2010 edition?

<p>I bought Direct Hits right before the 2010 edition released, and I'm pretty ****ed off about it.</p>

<p>How many new words are they and is it worth it?</p>

<p>Which one did you buy? Core or Toughest?</p>

<p>Well I have the 2010 Core Volume. Do you wanna trade? I’ll give you my 2010 Core and you give me your 2009 Toughest?</p>

<p>I have both DH volumes 2010 edition. The examples and allusions are really recent so it is pretty nice. (Some examples: Harry Potter 7, Transformers, The Dark Knight)
I’d say if you have the other years’ versions, it’s not worth it to buy the new one. Not that much has changed because a lot of the allusions are related to history.</p>
