Direct loans and refunds

Hi!

I've been calling my university for weeks about my tuition refunds and leftover loan money, but every time I called, they kept telling me "next week". Now, classes start in 2 days and they're telling me it'll be there the day classes start.

The thing is, I've been telling them that I am relying on that money to buy my supplies and textbooks. Is there anything I can do to make them speed it up a bit?

Another thing is that even though I've been calling for weeks and asking what I needed to do, they forgot to mention I needed to fill out a "promissory note". I filled it out today and they said they would contact my financial aid officer to call me. Is there any chance I can still get that money today? From what I understand, they have the money, but I was "missing that information".

What do you guys think? Am I gonna have to miss my first day of classes?

Hey guys. I kept calling and hounding and they got to it lol. Refund has been issued. Please lock.
